Welcome to the web site of the Muscogee Sail &
Power Squadron (MUSPS) in Columbus, Georgia. Our membership extends from eastern Alabama to western Georgia. Our
boat outings take place in area lakes, such as Lake Harding or West Point Lake, and can venture down into the Gulf of Mexico.
In
January, Muscogee Sail and Power Squadron held our formal Change of
Watch. This ceremony signifies a changing of the officer structure within
the organization. Our newly elected bridge officers take office and assume
their responsibilities. This year, we held the event at the Columbus Civil
War Naval Museum. This museum houses many interesting Civil War artifacts
including the substructure hull of CSS Muscogee Gunboat. A frame built
atop the substructure represents the size and position of the original
superstructure. Click here to read

90th Anniversary
Organized in 1914, USPS is a non profit, educational
organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching classes in seamanship, navigation, and related
subjects. Our members are boating families who contribute to their communities by promoting safe boating through education.
We enjoy participating with our fellow members on the water and in the classroom. USPS has some 60,000 members organized into
450 squadrons across the country and in some US territories. USPS is America's largest non-profit boating organization and has
been honored by three US presidents for its civic contributions.
