Gear

Mandatory Individual Gear

Paddling Event

  • Paddle (canoe or kayak)

  • PFD (minimum Coast Guard approved Type 3)

Mountain Bike Event 

  • Bike helmet

  • Mountain bike

  • Spare tube

 

Mandatory Team Gear

Entire Race – to be carried at all times!    

  • Container(s) for at least 1 liter water

Paddling Event                                     

  • 1 Recreational canoe (i.e., no composite or racing boats).  There are 15 canoes for rent at $20 per team.   Please indicate on registration form if you need to rent a canoe.

Mountain Bike Event

  • Bike tool

  • Tire pump or CO2 with enough CO2 to inflate 3 tires

  • Tire lever

 

Recommended Gear

  • Sunscreen  

  • Tick repellant

  • First aid kit including band-aids, polysporin, anti-inflammatories
