Updates

Attention Racers:  Update 9/10/2009

This is what you need to know for the race on Saturday.  Registration starts at 7am – the race meeting WILL START at 8:30.

1)       Please complete all forms before checking in on Saturday.  Nobody likes waiting in line, right?  IF you have all the forms, not all team members have to be present to check in.

2)       Register before dropping off your canoe.  That means you’ll need to be on time.  Directions to canoe drop-off are attached and will be available at the registration table.

3)       You may leave anything you wish in the canoe e.g. paddles, pfd’s, water, food, whatever….If you rented you’ll find your canoe at the drop off with your race number on it.

4)       You do not need a pfd for the swim portion later in the race.  They’re provided.

5)       Race meeting will start at 8:30am – you must ALL be present for the meeting.  I will give you some time afterward to get your act together.

6)       The obstacle course will take place near the transition area, as well as lunch (pizza!), and the award presentation shortly after 1:30.  It will be a good place for family and friends to hang out.

7)       Race will start shortly after 9:00, and the course will close at 1:30pm.  Don’t panic, we’ll just ask you to ride on in!

8)       Lots of good prizes – everyone gets a raffle ticket in their swag, and you MUST be present to win.
