960 Series Manual

So what is a 960?  One thing that many have trouble understanding is "what exactly is a 960 and what does that mean?"  View it this way:  the introduction of the Travco 960 series was as much a marketing strategy as it was a style change.  The 960 series does not change the chassis model nor the body model.  It is still a Travco 220 or 270.  It is still a Dodge 300 or 400 chassis.   But the 960 represented a new commitment to quality.   At that time (early 70's), the Travco stranglehold on the motor home market was heavily challenged by other manufacturers... and they were starting to win.  Travco countered by "re-inventing" their motor home and did so publicly by introducing the 960 series.
