I purchased this coach in it's original depreciated
condition in 1995 and began restoring it in 1996. It has had close
to $30,000 in repairs and upgrades applied over the last few years and is
in great shape now (I guess it should be, right?) |

Sherrie sold
Travco's in 1977 at Jim Reihl's Marine and R.V. We saw this on
the side of the road in the fall of 2001. Frank has done quite a bit
of welding to replace rusty, ... you name it. Removed the propane
tank and rebuilt the rear entry step, and steel storage box. Had the
leaking gasoline tank repaired and rebuilt the straps that hold it on.
Frank has installed an acrylic impregnated, engineered oak floor in place
of the carpet. It looks great!

We Bought the 77- 290 from a couple in LA
then drove back to Albuquerque NM lot's of fun? It's a 77 290 with a 440-3
with headers and edelbrock intake manifold using a Q-jet four
barrel. Original owner installed a Mitchell Gear-splitter behind the
auto trans, direct and about 300 rpms lower. There is also a Electric Jake
Brake behind that!! |
