Travstock 2003: Welcome to the Revolution

Our second Travstock was held in Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky at beautiful Prizer Point Resort on June 18 through 22.  Twenty-five Travcos and 80 people had a great time.    There's a lot on this page so keep scrolling down.

Photo Album

Our photo album tells the Travstock 2003 story.  It progresses automatically and will restart when complete.  Just sit back and relax.  This is about 10-20 minutes long depending on the speed of your computer.  (The music randomly changes every time you enter this page.)

Tattler

What would Travstock be without the Tattler, right?  Each morning, the Tattler arrived at your Travco complete with a daily story, photos, an agenda for the day's events, and other info.

"The Tent"

The tent was one of those underlying stories of Travstock.  Prizer Point did not have a facility large enough to accommodate all of us.  So, Tony brought along a massive tent.  The tent was hauled to Prizer Point in his truck by Tony's wife, Tina.  It's large and heavy.  Tony made sure enough people were willing to help set it up and take it down.  In retrospective, it proved to be the perfect place for Travstock events.

At 40'x 60' and 20' high, this is one large tent!

Boating Fun

34 Travconians set out in 3 pontoon boats for the waters of Land Between the Lakes.  We cruised Lake Barkley and went swimming.  Everyone enjoyed going down the slide off the top deck.  Although it sprinkled a few times, everyone enjoyed getting out in the cool water.  Lake Barkley is a major shipping lane.  We saw several barges being pushed by tugboats.  There were plenty of other water activities as well.
