A Day Trip to the Wild
Animal Safari!

A Saturday morning with nothing
planned. What to do? My wife was itching to go somewhere with the
kids. We had heard about a wild animal park nearby so onto the internet we
went. Sure enough, 30 miles away in Pine Mountain, Georgia, was just what
we were looking for.
My Travco
was already ready to roll. We loaded up lunch and drinks, grabbed the
kids, and away we went. As many of you know, sometimes these things work
out, sometimes not. Today would turn out great! The park and animals
exceeded our expectations. My Travco earned her share of stares and
inquiries. (I think it was envy.) We we fortunate that the
temperature wasn't too bad (like it normally is this time of year in the deep
south). The park was great fun. You get so close to the
animals. After years of this treatment, the animals are all very tame and
entertaining. Our younger children got such a kick out of seeing these
animals they only knew from books.
