FUSE PANEL

The fuse panel will vary from model to model.  This Travco owner had a tremendous amount of problems with his.  Moisture and rust caused ongoing connection problems and electrical outages.  A small wire brush and some axle grease have stopped that problem.  The axle grease acts as a barrier to moisture and prevents rust.  It stays on a lot longer than oil.

BREAKER BOX

This breaker box is located in the closet.  On this model, all breakers are marked.  Maybe yours mean the same.

1.  Main
2.  Lighting
3.  Appliances
4.  Main
5.  Water Heater
6.  Front AC
7.  Rear AC

This 1974 Travco did not come with a rear AC; however, the wiring and breaker were installed.  Adding the second AC unit was easy.

Each main provides power to either the port or the starboard side of the coach.

CONTROL PANEL

Many of us have problems with the control panel working.  Obviously, the first response is to check that it is getting power.  These are indicated by connector 1 (ground) and 2 (hot).  As you experiment, be sure to label your wires.  If you look closely, you can see the red wire is labeled "2 HOT."
If you are getting power, but one or more items on the panel still don't work, check your ground connections on the circuit board.  In the picture, the wire strip had a break.  The black wire was a patch to bridge the connection.  In a matter of minutes, this unit went from nothing working to everything working.
