Repainting Your Travco
by Dale Kreitner

This is one of when one of the guys who works for me came over to pick up his check and got involved.  This is the preparation work.

This is the first coat.  Boy was it WHITE!!!!
This was after two coats of white, well a somewhat softer white, and putting on some of my "accent."    Can you tell I once had a '55 Ford Crown Royal PINK AND WHITE when I was a senior in High School?
This is "almost" finished.  I ended up attaching house numbers showing 1973 on the access compartment to the front, and I wanted to put "I AM PEDDLING AS FAST AS I CAN" on the back but just ended up putting 1973 on the drivers side, above the tail light.  Some how that gives the same message.   At least this gives you an idea of what we did to spice up the exterior of what was a pretty bad second paint job by a former owner.  I had about $200.00 in paint involved and quite a bit of time, but it was fun.  Like I said before, it was a outdoor job, and sometimes the wind and weather just did not help.
