GUIDELINES & APPLICATION
1.
Submit completed application along with a check for all
appropriate fees by MAY 4,
2013.
A
$15.00 late fee will be required for ALL applications
received after May 4, 2013.
Make checks
payable to ARTS IN THE PARK and mail completed application,
check and photographs (if applicable) to the address listed on the
application.
2.
PHOTOGRAPHS:
Provide three (3) photographs for approval for ALL handmade
crafts.
3.
EXHIBITORS:
ARTS IN THE PARK is limited to 200 exhibitors. Each exhibitor
will be responsible for
his or her own display needs (including canopy and tables), as well
as the collection of monies
and applicable sales tax.
PLEASE NOTE:
NO Exhibitor will be allowed to leave before the
designated end of the event without
prior
approval from Mark McCollum or Leigh Stewart.
Please note that for the safety of our Patrons and
Exhibitors, once
the event has begun, NO Exhibitor will not be allowed to
drive their vehicle into the
interior of the park or otherwise move their vehicle around
within the park until after the event has ended
at 6:00 p.m.
Exceptions to this rule will only be made in the event of
inclement weather, an emergency,
or upon prior arrangements made before 11 a.m. on the day of
the event on the day of the event.

FEES:
Individual Exhibitor
$65.00 per
Person (1 20X20 space)
Groups of 5 to 9 Exhibitors
$45.00 per
Person (2 20X20 spaces)
Groups of 10 or More Exhibitors
$35.00
per Person (3
20X20 spaces)
College Art Student
$25.00 per
Person
Elementary, Middle, High School Art Student
No Charge
An Administrative Fee of 40% will be retained in the event of
cancellation due to inclement
weather.
5.
LOCATION:
Arts in the Park is held in and around the Bandshell at
Lakebottom Park (Park is located between 18th Avenue and
Cherokee Avenue). In
the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, the Wildwood and Lakebottom parks
were once a center for recreational activities including Sunday
afternoon concerts.
These parks are now an important part of the Weracoba/St. Elmo
Historic District, also known as The Park District.
6.
EVENT DATE:
Arts in the Park is held the third Sunday in May from 12 noon
until 6:00 p.m.
Rain date will be determined each year.
7.
SPACE SIZE:
All spaces are 20’ X 20’.
Please note that there is no
access to electricity or water.
